ControlByWeb Cloud
Enhance remote monitoring and multi-location control with the ControlByWeb Cloud. The cloud eliminates the need for all devices to be installed on the same network or the use of port forwarding across networks. Cloud-enabled devices log 30 days of historical data and can be integrated through an open REST API using simple and robust HTTP GET requests. Poll data, access log files, and manage relay states remotely.
Advanced device seats include 90 days of data logging, advanced reporting, and custom dashboards that are easily accessed through the web-based interface.
Data Logging
Log device input and relay data. This data can be downloaded, imported into a spreadsheet, displayed through custom graphs in the user interface, or emailed via FTP on an automated schedule.
Remote Firmware Updates
Send new firmware to your ControlByWeb devices and install it remotely through the browser-based interface—all while retaining existing logic and settings. Firmware packets contain an official ControlByWeb signature and can only be installed by an administrator, enhancing security.
Robust Security
Rely on an architecture that’s secure by design. 400 Series devices incorporate multiple levels of security, including encrypted SSL connections for data transfer, single sign-on Cloud access, and on-device logic storage to maintain functionality even when networks and external systems fail. Devices lack a built-in OS or file system, reducing vulnerability to common security threats.
Customizable Experience
Tailor the ControlByWeb experience for yourself and other users. A custom logo and footer can be applied, and multiple dashboards can be created to show various input data and relay controls. A systems integrator program is also available for further customizations like private/white hardware labeling.
