X-410CW: WiFi-Enabled Remote Monitoring
When a hardwired Ethernet connection isn’t practical, WiFi connectivity allows you to easily monitor and control your I/O module wirelessly. The built-in WiFi capability of the X-410CW allows you to create logic, monitor inputs, and trigger relays through a standard web browser and WiFi network. (Note that an Ethernet connection is required for initial setup of 400 Series devices.)
The Benefits of WiFi PLCs
- Flexibility: WiFi-enabled PLCs are often used when a hardwired Ethernet connection isn’t feasible.
- Cost: With WiFi, integrators can avoid the expense of burying a line, channeling Ethernet cables, and installing other physical components.

The X-410 comes with a built-in web interface, making programming a breeze. No more complicated ladder diagrams – just simple “if this then that” logic programmed with drop-down menus.
